Abstract

The essay highlights the fundamental aspects of the “Gentile Reform” of 1923, contextualizing them in the Italian political panorama of the time. Gentile's pedagogical conception is reduced to his personal version of idealism, defined as actualism.Finally, We consider the meaning of the adhesion to the fascism ofthe author of the most important Italian scholastic reform of the Twentieth Century.
